Camden Panther Creek Apartments

Living at Camden Panther Creek has been a wonderful experience! Actually, this is my 2nd Camden property I have lived & I can’t say enough good things about the community. The most important is my attached garage as well as washer and dryer. These 2 things have made apartment living more like a home!!! The staff here are helpful and responsive. I also love how dog friendly it is here with a nice dog park. I would definitely recommend Camden Panther Creek!!!

I lived at Camden for a 15 month lease and this by far was the best apartment I have ever had. I loved the unit I lived in, the patio space is amazing and the reason that I decided to move here. The maintenance team does an excellent job. Any maintenance request I had was taken care of immediately. The staff were always very kind and welcoming. The property itself was well kept. The pool was clean and a nice area to have friends over. It’s a huge thing to say that I always felt safe when I walked around the community either in the morning or night. It’s a dog friendly community with a little dog park that isn’t busy so it was perfect for my dogs. All of the neighbors I had were really good people. I am sad to leave! But we are on to a house. I am thankful for my time at Camden!

If you are looking for an apartment with great management, this is the place to call home. Is definitely the small details that count for us, starting when we moved in with a housewarming package and personalized welcome letter. Throughout the time we have had the best experience with leasing and living in a complex so far. Thanks to all the staff specifically to Tylene, Rose and Kristina who have work with our requests with professionalism and courtesy.

Get ready for rent raises each lease term and it's not clear what the rent increase is for. Currently, the valet trash service has license to pick up the trash they want and what they don't want. Twice my trash wasn't picked up without explanation and they threw out my personal trash can with the trash. I am not the first to say something. Also, there is a rat infestation on the grounds. I see them everywhere, including by the hot tub, having a party at dusk, running around in the bushes. It's really bad. I was told pest service would come out but nothing has changed. This was months ago now. The nice thing is the pool and hot tub. But get ready for teenagers to hop the fence during the nicer months and party till all hours. The office does nothing except for me to call the cops. The cops don't come. The kids are loud and messy, including leaving drink bottles in the pool, furniture in the pool once, and peeing in the bushes. I actually started to say something to the kids because that is the only way to get a little peace and quiet. They are good about repairs in the apartment for the most part but it usually takes several tries to fix it right. For paying $1700 a month for a 1 bedroom, I would expect a lot better.

I just moved out and lived at Camden Panther Creek for two years (ended my lease a few months early due to getting married). I loved this place upon move-in in summer of 2021. However, things went more downhill about halfway through my lease. Something about the college campus opening up across Preston seemed to bring mischief and loss of safety to the complex. I used to take my dog outside with no problems, but over the past year I have had instances where drunk men would come up to me, while I’m just trying to let my dog out to pee (and minding my own business). I almost got snatched by a man at one point at the dog park but there are zero cameras anywhere and very little light at night. At some point, I believe people did not take me seriously bc of all the issues I had to bring up, so I stopped reporting incidents. I ended up leaving my dog with my fiancé at his home for the final few months because even he noticed that it was not safe for me to go outside alone. My final days there, I had a man jump out of his truck and chase me up the stairwell (some of these instances were the same man). Luckily I was able to drag my dog inside quickly and lock the door, but once he realized he could not get in my apartment, he walked back down and left. That was probably my final straw living here. Oh and don’t forget about the man at 3am walking through the complex openly carrying an AK. On top of the loss of safety, the smell of smoke and weed is AWFUL. They pride themselves on being a smoke-free community, but it definitely was not that. There was also black mold all throughout my AC system and in the windows. I had them do mold remediation once but it just came back a couple months later. I will say, I LOVED most of the maintenance team (Marco and that new guy especially). They always got things done efficiently and quickly. Tylene has also always been very helpful in the front office! Big shout out to them for being wonderful! Overall, not sure what has happened with this complex, but there are some serious safety issues that need to be addressed there. Definitely unsafe for a young female living alone. It was a great complex a couple years ago, not sure I would recommend it now.
